Rick Santorum begins his acceleration in Connecticut
As more and more “Connecticut Republicans” start to learn about former Congressman and Senator Rick Santorum, the numbers have begun to climb. As early as January 1, 2012, Rick Santorum’s percentage numbers were in between one and two percent, as of January 20, 2012, his numbers have climbed to 11 1/2% at the Connecticut GOP straw poll. I do not believe that these numbers clearly reflect the majority of Connecticut registered Republicans who have refused to give any money to the Connecticut GOP leadership, or do not have any money left after Gov. Dan Malloy has retroactively brought back the date of the state income tax increase, to the beginning of 2011. I believe you will find that the Rick Santorum’s campaign is beginning to steamroll and will in fact take over by Super Tuesday. For those in other states with early voting, feel confident that a vote for Santorum will not be wasted and that your votes are in fact beginning to reflect in states that are known for their Democrat style leanings or anti-social conservatism.Rick Santorum could be the President’s worse fear come November 2012, as he will be able to connect with the Working or “Former Working” Middle Class and Social Conservative Democrats as well as the entire Republican community.
